KZ Companies is proud to announce the groundbreaking of a community-driven shopping center, Ho’omaka Marketplace in Kapolei, Hawaii

We were honored to have the participation of Governor David Ige, who spoke at the ceremony and helped turn the first soil on this landmark occasion. The project will consist of Longs Drugs, Chick-fil-A, Hele Gas, and 7-Eleven. There will be a dedicated space for Kapolei Community Development Corporation (KCDC), a nonprofit that serves Hawaiian homestead areas.

KCDC will utilize the proceeds to support facilities, scholarships, education, childcare, emergency services, and job creation for Native Hawaiian families. It has been a pleasure to work with KCDC and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL).
