The Superintendent will manage day-to- day onsite activities for commercial construction projects; to include repairs, remodels, rebuilds, and new construction. This is a full time position. The successful candidate will be required to work nights and/or work days, as the specific project requires. Projects will be located throughout the Southern California area and some travel may be required. Travel expenses will be paid/ reimbursed by the Employer.
Schedule, coordinate, and manage all project vendors, deliveries, and subcontractors.
Ensure quality construction, installations, and adherence to plans and specifications.
Professionally represent the general contractor during interaction with the owner, inspectors, adjacent property owners, and the general public.
Manage all aspects of a safe and clean project through compliance with vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare and submit daily project reports and photographs with email.
3+ years’ experience in Retail Construction
Competent with the ability to schedule, coordinate, and manage all project vendors, deliveries, and subcontractors
Be able to provide excellent customer service to retail clients
Must be available to work nights and/or days, as the specific project requires
Have the ability to use a laptop computer with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and a smartphone to communicate with all levels of project management, vendors, and subcontractors.
Create and maintain daily reports with pictures for client and project manager reference
Professionally communicate through written, oral, and electronic means
Must be able to work independently and with a team
Must be able to read and interpret plans to insure all aspects of the plans and specifications are achieved
Competent with the ability to manage safety procedures
